Jim Barbee
Managing Partner and CEO
Jim spent 25 years with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department and retired to take a position with AMC Theatres. He served as the Director of Corporate Security and Employment Compliance with AMC for 13 years. Jim attended the FBI National Academy at Quantico and has provided safety and security consulting for Procter & Gamble, the Kansas City Royals, Century Theatres, AMC Theatres, and Marvell Semiconductor just to name a few. He was a member of the United States State Department’s Overseas Advisory Task Force which consults and directed businesses operating abroad. Jim has served as the CEO for SecureNet for the past 8 years.
Troy Bohannan
President
Troy is a lifelong entrepreneur that has been involved in the electronic security industry since 2001. He began as a technician for a small startup company, Security One. Troy has been involved in the system design and installation process for several large projects across the country. With his extensive experience, Troy brings a vast amount of knowledge to the operations of SecureNet. He takes great pride in the “dream team” he has established to service our customers. When asked about the success of SecureNet, the company he helped start and has operated since its inception, Troy responded, “The real reason for our success is the team we have put together. I’m surrounded by the smartest, hardest working people I have ever known. It makes us run very efficiently and grow at an amazing pace.”
Rick Easley
Sr. Vice President of National Sales
Rick spent almost 31 years with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department, with the last 5 1/2 years as the Chief of Police. He is also a former Vice President of the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) in Washington DC, which is a think tank for police-related initiatives with Police Chiefs nationwide. Rick has also spent over 11 years as the President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission which is a public safety organization responsible for anti-crime initiatives such as the TIPS Hotline and SAFE. He has been an active law enforcement support element since 1949. Rick is a nationally recognized expert in crime prevention and community policing and has a deep knowledge of anti-crime and safety initiatives.
